Should be good this year!!! The only thing that would make it better is if RRB was there again and the girl I was with!
No Mike and no refund from ticket master since i bought the tix before it was announced Mike would not be on the bill
still ALOT of great music to go around for a cheap tix price, Im sure it will be just as good as last year!
Is this something we can go to later in the day after it has started? We’ve never been and would love to see Ragweed, but have tickets for the Speedway also that day. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!
The show goes till 11pm, so if you get there by 9 you will still see Ragweed. Hope this helps.
I hope they get the Turnpike Troubadors from Stillwater to fill in for Mike McClure.
Any idea what time Kevin Fowler will be on stage? Saw him at Yallapalooza in 2008 and he was fantastic. He even took time out to sign a tee shirt for my husband who’s in the Army and take pictures. Also, what is the minimum age for a minor? My 17 year old wants to go with me.
Thanks!!!
There will be tickets at the door but the best bet is to get them through Ticketmaster so you can ensure yourself a ticket (incase it sells out)!
T-Marv and Hammer Down and County Road 5 have played at the last two or three Red Dirt shows I’ve been to. They’re all right, but there are a few other really great Red Dirt acts around KC, and it might be kinda good to share the love a little bit.
Deadman Flats (actually they’re from Lawrence, but I’ve seen ‘em play KC), Matt Stell And The Crashers, the Jessica Horn Band, Lincoln Road, and call it egotistical, but I’m a pretty big fan of my own stuff. It seems like the local music scene is really difficult to break into, but that’s just business.
There’s also a band called Auburn Skies that’s pretty good. They’re from Lenexa.
Can someone who has been to this event before, please give us a run down of what goes on from start to finish please.
Went last year - it’s about 8-9 hours of music/booze/dancing - no lawnchairs - but there is grass so don’t wear heels - Hopefully they reconfig’d the outside bar it was a train wreck last year - and the beer girls on the other side ran out of beer. Bring layers - it cooled down. Great crowd though - hopefully the same this year.
Ragweed played the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake Iowa w dirks bently. 4 or 5 years ago. From seeing them I have learned of Mike, Stony,Jason,Mike,Wade….. Can’t wait to see all the great things to come. WANNA ROCK AND ROLL!!!! Peace from Iowa
Ragweed is gonna be AWESOME!!! thanks for bringing Hammer Down back too!
So it’s supposed to be a BBQ but I seen no mention of food, does anyone know if they are serving food?
Anyone know if there is a schedule of events for this show?
Can you enter/exit if you want to see some early bands and then want to come back later?
4 pack for $75!! That is bull when I paid $33.95 per ticket for 5 tickets($204)! I could have paid $133 for the exact same tickets! Do I get $71 worth of beer??
Is it sold out? I’ve been trying to order tickets online and it says sale stopped :(
I’m looking for 2 people that want to go in with me and a friend on the 4 pack deal. we save 8 dollars each! if we do it. Please email me at (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). I love TEXAS COUNTRY!!!
WANNA ROCK AND ROLL. Iowa is on the road. Love this band. Never knew red dirt got this far north. Want to let you know 6 hr. drive is nothing. Plan to do it 4 times this summer. Then in October they will be in Northwood IA. My backyard. HEY HEY HEY!!!
Well, some idiot in Stillwater apparently put Cody in the hospital last night, throwing a bottle on stage and hitting him. If anyone can tough that out and still show, it’s CCR. Hoping everything is okay….
I’d say your best bet for updates on their status for the show tonight will be CCR’s facebook page….Beaumont isn’t the greatest about letting anyone know anything on here.
SO EXCITED! dont care the schedule, just going to have a big assed good time! I am going mainly for CCR so hopefully, Canada is feeling his oats!!
It’s official. CCR has cancelled. Cody has a concussion and 20 stitches in his head. Damn you, Stillwater!
Unfortunately Cross Canadian Ragweed has canceled tonight. Everyone else is still scheduled to play.
Tickets are now $10 at the door. If you choose to refund your ticket, it can be done at point of purchase.
Has ticketmaster been notified to return money? They won’t talk to people trying to get refunds because “the show hasn’t been cancelled”.
Blaine Younger said they weren’t playing too because of scheduling conflicts on their facebook… is this correct? what time is CR5 playing?
All refunds must be done at the point of purchase. Beaumont Club does not have a box office.
County Road 5 will be opening the show at 3:30.
I understand that all refunds must be done through the point of purchase, however ticketmaster is not granting refunds because they haven’t heard from you guys.
Ticketmaster says that since the event has started they will not grant refunds. They also went on to say that since its a past event it is out of there hands and it needs to be taken up with the Beaumont Club Box Office. And now the Beaumont Club says it has to be taken up with the point of purchase, which is Ticketmaster.
Someone needs to get this straightened out.
All refunds will be processed through Monday. Keep your ticket. If you want to goto the show still, bring $10 and then contact Ticketmaster on Monday to get your refund on the more expensive ticket.
WTF Beaumont? Don’t lay this on Ticketmaster. Be a real venue, step up to the plate, and take care of your patrons. You aren’t paying CCR, you can take care of the fans that bought advanced tickets.
It is in Beaumont Club’s contract to handle everything with refunds through Ticketmaster.
We reduced cover to $10 and gave anyone the option for a full refund on any previous purchased tickets.
Thanks to everyone who understands the situation with Cross Canadian Ragweed (which was out of our control).
I too called Ticketmaster this morning. They indicated they have yet been able to contact the “promoter” and did not know how to handle this. The agent did say that once they had gotten in touch with the promoter they would call me back. They had my number, so we will see.
Follow up: Got a call back from Ticketmaster and at first they were going to credit my CC, but then came back and said that the tickets were printed and that I needed to mail in the tickets for a refund. I told him none were given out and I didn’t have them. He said that he believed me, but that they needed the tickets for a refund. He said that he was going to do some more checking and call me back. He told me that I may have to go back to the Beaumont to get the tickets to mail back. Geez. It shouldn’t be this difficult.
Ticketmaster is now giving refunds at points of purchase. If you had a physical ticket or printed off ticket you must still have that in your possession.
Just got called back from Ticketmaster. They are issuing the refund to my card. It sounds like they now have everything figured out.
Shane, sorry about confusion with your tickets. It was a mix up with will call tickets that were waiting at door. Everything should be straightened now.
Traveled from Nebraska. Great Show, Great venue! Got to hang with Stoney and Kevin next door at Kelly’s after the show. Good times.
I can not find the phone number to call for a refund from this event. How can I get ahold of someone for the correct number?
Where did you guy your ticket? I would call wherever you bought it. If through ticketmaster on line, I would call ticketmaster.
is there a BarBQ cook-off included with this event?
